Organise your own Community Roundtable
If you are not sure where to begin with your submission or you cannot attend a Community Roundtable, why not organise your own event to share your views about human rights and responsibilities? The National Human Rights Consultation Committee encourages you to get together and start thinking about the key Consultation questions:
- Which human rights and responsibilities should be protected and promoted?
- Are human rights and responsibilities sufficiently protected and promoted?
- How could Australia better protect and promote human rights and responsibilities?
Perhaps you could:
- Organise a human rights morning tea with your friends, club or community organisation
- Have a group discussion at your school or university
- Hold a debate at your local town hall
Think about how rights and responsibilities are protected now. Think outside the box and discuss different ways of protecting and promoting rights and responsibilities in the future.
