Recently ,I and sadly ,some of my innocent staff were forced to
 
attend a secret court,where our human rights were abused.We were not
 
allowed to advise friends or family of our attendance,were not allowed
 
legal representation,faced immediate two years gaol if THEY PRESUMED we
 
told a lie or if we told anyone any of the proceedings in the court
 
etc.Outside the court ,I complained to the inquisitor of their abuse of our
 
human rights and to my amazement he replied cheerfully and proudly "Yes I
 
know !We are the only country in the world doing it ! Even my American
 
counterparts tell me : How draconian ! How do you get away with it !"
 
Well they do, because they can,as we have no real human rights laws in
 
Australia.The inquisitor(again outside of the court - otherwise I could not
 
publish this account) threatened me to expect lots of dramas,I believe,
 
because he was angry that I was not intimidated by his bullying tactics,
 
and the fact we were not the criminals he presumed.Many of my staff were
 
indeed traumatised by the awful experience and I myself fear the
 
consequences of complaining about their abuse of our human rights in this
 
submission.As a law abiding ,taxpaying Australian I trust we can introduce
 
human rights laws to protect us from such abusers Yours Ray Thorpe
