To Whom it should concern,
 

 
I have become aware of consideration to create a bill of rights (or
 
something with a different name but simialr function) and I would want to
 
raise cuation with this idea.
 

 
In Australia I understand that we have a range of rights and privileges
 
that are already protected by our current system of government and law. I
 
am cautious about what further woud need to be established. We are a
 
country with much diversity and many of the opinions held by a variety of
 
people are upheld in our current system. I understand with the passing of
 
time adn the extremes of opinions that some become mutually exclusive but i
 
feel that our current system would suffice.
 

 
I not not claim to have intimate and detailed knowledge on the subject and
 
am happy to recieve further inforamtion adn be part of ongoing discussion.
 
I believe that the system that was installed at the inception of our
 
country has and continues to serve us quite well (All systems have their
 
faults) and i would caution against radical moves to alter the
 
socio-political climate in a unwise way.
