National Human Rights Consultation Submission AGWW-7QY69H Name: Adrian Gunton Submission Text: Are you aware of this: Britain’s chief Charter of Rights promoter, Jack Straw, now admits his Charter of Rights is a “villain’s charter” because it help villains while victims are discarded and the community abandoned. This is relevant because at the Brisbane roundtable Father Brennan suggested that the British model was a good example of a Charter of Rights. If the main advocate of a Charter in Britain admits that it is a bad idea, why is it supported by the panel? Furthermore, why does the panel consist of people who all have the same opinion on this issue? Where's the diversity? Regards, Adrian Gunton. Page 1 of 1
